OUR MISSION
Our church exists to make disciples that increasingly live like Jesus for the sake of the world.
OUR VALUES
The Church is meant to show the world what God is like.
Ephesians 3 says the Church reveals the manifold wisdom of God—not just to people, but to the powers and principalities. In other words, how we live together tells a bigger story. We believe the local church is a living picture of God’s heart for the world.
At The Table, we seek to live that out through four values:
Scripture
Because god still speaks
We are shaped by the Word of God.
We don’t come to Scripture to affirm ‘our’ way of life. We come to be formed by it.
Even when it’s challenging. Even when it confronts us.
Because we believe the Bible is alive, and God still speaks through it to equip us for every good work.
“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness…” — 2 Timothy 3:16
Pursuit
Because We Long For More Than Success
In a city driven by ambition and achievement, we long to be a people driven by desire for God.
We orient our lives around His presence…not just on Sundays, but in the everyday moments of our work, relationships, and rest.
We believe the deepest longings of our souls are met not in accomplishment, but in communion with the God who is always near.

Withness
Because Love Shows Up
We follow a God who made Himself nothing for our sake.
Jesus didn’t love from a distance. He entered our world, bore our burdens, and lived among us in humility.
That same posture defines how we live together.
Withness means showing up…in joy and in struggle, in celebration and in pain.
It’s not just being around people; it’s being with people, for the long haul, in the same way Christ is with us.
“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.” — Philippians 2:5-7
generosity
Because Grace Makes Us Open-Handed
We believe generosity is a way of life rather than just a moment.
In a city where so many are stretched thin, we seek to be a community known for open hands.
We give our time, our energy, our resources, and even our convenience because God has given us everything in Christ.
Like the early Church, we long to become a people where it can be said: “There were no needy among them” (Acts 4:34).
“Freely you have received; freely give.” — Matthew 10:8
Affiliations
The Table NYC is an affiliate church plant of The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA).
The U.S. Alliance is part of a Christ-centered global movement more than 6 million strong. Our Acts 1:8 family—inspired by Jesus’ love and empowered by His Spirit—is passionate to bring the good news about Him to our neighborhoods and world.
